A man was seriously injured after he was struck by a car along Van Tonder Street in Centurion this afternoon at around 14h00. Exact detail to the cause of the accident is still speculative and will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the man lying on the ground, indication was that the vehicle had driven over the man’s one leg. After the patient was stabilised at the scene they transported him to a local hospital for the care that he required.
