Twelve people were injured in a taxi crash along Fisher Road in Waterfall, Kwa Zulu Natal this evening. A report from the scene indicate that the vehicle was traveling down a steep hill when he veered off the road and crashed into an embankment.
Netcare 911 paramedics and their rescue unit arrived at the scene and found the crumpled remains of the vehicle wedged up on an embankment with the side door lying next to the wreckage. The injured were found at the side of the roadway.
After paramedics treated the wounded at the scene they transported them to various hospitals for the care that they required.
