Three people were left with minor to moderate injuries when a light motor vehicle they were traveling in over turned on Old North Coast Road in Redhill, North of Durban this afternoon.
Crisis Medical paramedics arrived on the scene, close to Glen Anil Street,to find the injured occupants trying to free them selves from the wreckage. Intermediate life support intervention was needed to stabilize the driver and two passengers, before they were placed on to specialized stretchers for suspected neck and spinal cord injuries and transported by ambulance through to a nearby hospital for further care.
It’s unclear what caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle leading to it overturning.
The necessary authorities were on scene and will investigate further.
