Tokoza Saps arrested a 29-year old male for possession of unlicensed firearm on Sunday during a Police operation.
The operation was promoted by a number of murders that took place in Tokoza recently. Police received tip off about the suspect who resides at Tokoza hostel.
When police arrived, the suspect tried to run away, the suspect fell down and sustain a head injury. He received medical treatment before being taken to Tokoza Police Station.
The suspect’s unlicensed firearm serial number is rubbed off. Police also found three ammunitions. The suspect will appear at Palm Ridge court soon.
