Six people were injured this morning, including a pedestrian, after three vehicles collided at the Malibongwe and CR Swart Road intersection in Strydom Park in Johannesburg.
When ER24 paramedics arrived on scene, they found that numerous vehicles had been involved in the collision.
It is understood that a delivery van, truck and car had collided in the collision, as well as colliding with a pedestrian who had been standing on the middle isle in the road.
On further assessment, paramedics found that 6 people had been injured in the collision, one of them seriously.
Paramedics treated the patients for their injuries, as well providing the seriously injured patient with advanced life support.
Once treated, all the patients were transported to various hospitals for further treatment.
The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
