Six people were injured in a collision between a taxi and bakkie at Clarendon Drive and Fifth Avenue in Roodepoort this morning.
ER24 paramedics and other services arrived on scene and found the damaged vehicles still on the road. Patients, which included a girl believed to be 18 years of age, were lying on the ground.
Paramedics assessed the patients, four from the taxi and two from the bakkie. They were found to have sustained minor to moderate injuries.
They were treated and transported to local hospitals for further medical care.
The exact cause of the collision is unknown. Authorities were on scene to investigate further.
