On Monday, 14 December 2015, Constables Kati Kati and Van Vuuren of Mthatha and Elliot K9 Search and Rescue were called out to search for Mr Soki Buyelele, 68 years, who had gotten lost in the Langeni forest in Tsolo.
The members and their dogs searched the mountainous area in bad weather the whole day before finding and rescuing Mr Buyelele at 18:00.
He was returned safely to his family.
