7-Year old boy drowns in Margate swimming pool

This afternoon Netcare 911 paramedics were called to a drowning incident at the Margate swimming pool. Exact detail to the incident is still speculative and will remain a subject for police investigation.

The Netcare 911 advanced life support paramedics and her team arrived at the scene and found lifeguards working tirelessly trying to resuscitate the seven-year-old boy. Paramedics placed the child on a ventilator and started with advanced life support resuscitation. Tragically, despite working for about forty-five minutes the child was declared dead at the scene.
