Two separate collisions took place during wet weather about 200 metres apart on the M13 Field’s Hill at about the same time this morning.
In both instances the drivers lost control of the vehicles and crashed into barriers.
At the first incident that ER24 paramedics attended, a man was found still sitting in a light delivery vehicle.
Paramedics opened a door and took the man out.
He was assessed and found to have sustained moderate injuries. He was treated and transported to hospital for further medical care.
In the second incident two men were found seated on the grass next to the vehicle.
Both men were assessed by paramedics. One was treated for minor injuries and transported to hospital. Fortunately the second person involved in the incident was uninjured.
The exact cause of the incidents are unknown.
