A woman who was injured in a collision this morning had to be airlifted to hospital for further medical care by the ER24 medical helicopter.
ER24 paramedics arrived on scene, on Hendrik Potgieter near Albert Street, and found that a bakkie and car were involved in the collision.
A woman was found in the car.
Upon assessment of the woman, believed to be in her 30’s, it was found that she was in a critical condition.
She was treated and airlifted to hospital for further medical care.
The driver of the bakkie declined to be taken to hospital.
The exact cause of the incident is unknown.
Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
