A forty-seven-year old motorcyclist is in a critical but stable condition in hospital following a collision between his bike and a truck on Moot street and corner Welthagen street in Hermanstad, Pretoria.
The exact detail to the cause of the accident will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
When Netcare911 paramedics arrived on scene they found the motorcyclist a few meters away from his bike, his bike was found under the truck.
Paramedics managed to stabilise the man on scene and then transported him to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
