Makhado Police arrested a 44-year-old man for the possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.
They followed up information about a suspect on the way to commit armed robbery and stopped a taxi travelling from Musina. After searching the suspect they confiscated a 9mm pistol with tje serial number filed off, ammunition, a balaclava, gloves and a bolt cutter.
