On Sunday morning at 06h02 Netcare 911 paramedics received a call for a vehicle that overturned on the N3 five kilometres after warden towards Johannesburg. Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain a subject for police comment.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and found that the wreckage of the vehicle had come to rest on its side next to the highway. After they examined the injured it was found that one person sustained serious injuries while another miraculously escaped with minor injuries.
Paramedics stabilised the injured at the scene before transporting them to various hospitals for further medical care.
