At least twenty-three people have sustained injuries varying from serious to moderate after two taxi’s collided with each other on the M57 in Tembisa this morning.
The exact detail to the cause of the accident will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
Netcare911 paramedics worked alongside other services on scene to stabilise the injured.
All injured have been transported to various hospitals in the area for further medical care.
