A 46-year-old woman was injured this morning after her light motor vehicle collided with a roadside barrier on the N2 South in Amanzimtoti, KwaZulu Natal.
ER24 paramedics had witnessed the incident from their standby point.
It is understood that the woman lost control of the vehicle in the wet weather, causing it to slam into the barrier.
Paramedics found the woman seated inside vehicle, complaining of pain to her neck and back.
The patient was carefully extricated from her vehicle and treated for her injuries. Once treated, she was transported to Prince Mshiyeni for further treatment.
Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
