A man, believed to be in his 30s, is in a critical condition after he was shot at the R554 and R23 Road intersection in Brakpan.
ER24 paramedics, along with provincial services, arrived on scene and found the patient lying in the road next to the vehicle.
On assessment, paramedics found that one man had sustained a gunshot wound to his chest and was in a critical condition.
ER24 and provincial paramedics immediately began their treatment and provided the patient with advanced life support interventions.
Once treated, the patient was airlifted by the ER24 Helicopter to Glynwood Hospital for urgent treatment.
Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
