At 14h55 the Netcare 911 paramedics responded to the Cedara Train Station for a person that was hit by a train. Reports from the scene indicate that a security guard was walking along the tracks when he landed in front of the train.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and found the man lying near the tracks. Tragically, it was found that the patient had died before our arrival due to the extensive injuries that he sustained. Exact cause to the incident will however remain a subject for police investigation.
