Multiple people have been injured after five cars and a truck collided on Booth Road near the N2 Bridge this morning just after 07:30am.
Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find that the roadway was obstructed by multiple vehicles. Five cars and a truck had collided on Booth Road. More ambulances were called to assist. A total of nine patients had sustained injuries from minor to moderate from different vehicles. Rescue Care Paramedics stabilized all of the injured before transporting them to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required.
AT this stage it is unclear what caused the collision however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
