Three men were injured this afternoon after the scaffolding they were working on collapsed at a construction site at the corners of Golden Highway and East Street in Eldorado Park, south of Johannesburg.
ER24 paramedics were called to the scene, and on arrival, found three men in their 30s lying next to some collapsed scaffolding. All three men were being treated by first aiders from the company.
On assessment, paramedics found that all three men had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, all three men had escape serious injury.
Paramedics treated the men and thereafter transported them to Lenmed hospital for further investigations.
The cause of the collapse will be investigated by local authorities.
