This morning Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a two-vehicle collision on the N2 at Merlewood on the Natal south coast. Exact detail to the cause of the crash and preceding events will remain a subject for police comment.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and found the wreckages obstructing the highway. After triaging the injured they found that a man and a woman had sustained serious injuries. Medics stabilised the injured at the scene before they transported them to a local hospital for the care that they required.
