At 16h21 on Sunday afternoon Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a shooting incident on a farm in the Boschkop area in Gauteng. Reports from the incident indicate that the man dropped the gun causing it to accidentally discharge. Exact detail to the cause however will remain a subject for police investigation.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and found the man in a critical condition. Medics worked fervently at the scene to stabilise the patient before they airlifted him to a specialised hospital for the care that he required.
