A woman in her 20s was airlifted off Table Mountain this afternoon after she fell, injuring her leg.
ER24 paramedics, AMS, Community Medics and Metro Rescue were called to the scene after they received the reports of a woman injured on the mountain.
The AMS helicopter was called to airlift the woman from the mountain as paramedics were unable to reach her.
Once rescued, the patient was delivered to awaiting ER24 paramedics on the road.
Assessments showed that the woman had sustained serious injuries to her leg and required immediate treatment.
The patient was transported by ER24 ambulance to Mediclinic Cape Town for further treatment.
