This morning Netcare 911 paramedics received a call for a vehicle that had driven over an embankment along the Wartburg Road in Pietermaritzburg. Exact detail to the cause of the collision is still speculative and will remain a subject for police comment.
Medics arrived at the scene and found the wreckage of the car on its side down the embankment, the female sustained serious injuries. Netcare 911 Paramedics treated her at the scene before they transported her to hospital under the constant care of an advanced life support paramedic.
