This morning EMER-G-MED’s RV4, M04, M02, A09, A12 and I02 responded to reports of a collision involving two taxis on the corner of Barbara and Tunney Roads in Elandsfontein – east of Johannesburg.
It’s alleged that one taxi was driving on the wrong side of the road when it hit the other taxi head-on, pushing it into another vehicle and that vehicle into a tree.
A total of 17 patients sustained minor to moderate injuries. They were treated on-scene before being transported to various nearby hospitals for further care.
EMPD were on the scene to investigate further.
