Fourteen people have been injured after two taxis collided before one overturned at the intersection of Field Street and Queen Street around 06:30am
Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find that two taxis had collided in the junction before one rolled several times coming to rest on its side. Multiple people had sustained various injuries and were stabilized on the scene before being transported to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required.
At this stage it is unclear what caused the collision however SAPS were on scene and will be investigating further.
