Yesterday afternoon EMER-G-MED’s RV5 and M08 attended to a serious MBA on Kirby Beller and Bellairs Drive, in Glenvista – south of Johannesburg.
Paramedics arrived on the scene to find that a motorbike had T-boned a vehicle that was crossing the intersection.
The motorcyclist was in a critical condition and required immediate Advanced Life Support intervention. Once stabilised the patient was transported to a nearby trauma centre by Netcare911 with RV5’s Advanced Life Support paramedic on-board .
Local authorities were on-scene to investigate further.
