A twenty-seven-year-old man has died after falling approximately six metres down from a tree at a retirement village on Badger Avenue in Akasia, Gauteng.
Reports from the scene indicate that the man fell while trimming the tree.
When Netcare911 paramedics arrived on scene, we found the man to be in a critical condition.
Paramedics stabilised the man on scene before transporting him to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
Unfortunately, the man succumbed to his injuries in hospital.
This incident happened this morning at about 08h45.
