This afternoon Netcare 911 paramedics responded to an incident in Ramsgate where a man in his eighties had an accident with an angle grinder and sustained critical wounds. Exact detail as to how the accident happened is unclear at this stage.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and found the elderly man to have sustained life-threatening injuries. The Advanced Life Support paramedic and her crew worked fervently at the scene to stabilise the man before they rushed him to a nearby hospital for emergency surgery.
