Ten people have been injured, two moderately so after a taxi and a bakkie collided on the N2 South Bound near Joyner Road just after 2:30pm today.
Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find that a taxi and a bakkie had collided on the busy highway before the bakkie overturned. A total of ten patients had sustained various injuries and were stabilised on the scene before being transported to nearby hospitals for the further care that they required.
At this stage the cause of the accident is unknown however the necessary authorities were on scene and will be investigating further.
