KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison, Mr. Mxolisi Kaunda joined mourners at a mass funeral this past Sunday for the six people who died on Sunday (26 June 2016) evening as a result of a gruesome collision.
A bakkie travelling on the N2 collided head-on with truck near the Baobab Intersection, a few kilometres away from Mkhuze.
All the six deceased were occupants in a bakkie.
