A twenty-two-year-old man has sustained serious injuries after heavy metal fell on top of him at his workplace in Vereeniging.
Netcare911 paramedics managed to stabilise the injured man on scene before the Netcare 2 helicopter was dispatched to the scene to airlift the man to a Johannesburg hospital for specialised medical care.
This incident happened this afternoon at about 16h00.
