Five people were injured in a collision on the R44 between Stellenbosch and Klapmuts this morning.
ER24 paramedics as well as Metro arrived on scene and found two vehicles that had been involved in the collision.
Upon assessment of the patients it was found that one sustained serious injuries, one sustained moderate injuries and three sustained minor injuries.
The patients were treated and transported to hospital for further medical care.
The exact cause of the incident is unknown.
Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
