On Thursday night just before 7pm EMER-G-MED’s A08 was dispatched to reports of a rollover collision on the R21 North, in Centurion.
On arrival paramedics found that a bakkie had rear-ended a broken down vehicle in the middle lane, causing the bakkie to lose control and roll multiple times – ending up in the centre media.
Fortunately the occupants of the broken down vehicle were not in the car at the time of the collision. The driver of the bakkie escaped with only minor injuries and was transported by A08 to Netcare Unitas hospital for further assessment.
