A man in his eighties is in a critical condition after he was stabbed multiple times at his home in Beyers street in Krugersdorp.
The exact detail as to what happened will form part of a SAPS investigation and comment.
When Netcare911 paramedics arrived on scene, we found the elderly man still in his bed with multiple stab wounds.
He was stabilised on scene by a Netcare911 Advanced Life Support Paramedic and transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
The man was found this morning at about 07h30.
