Two people were attacked by a dog at Kingfisher and Mulder streets in Roodepoort this morning.
ER24 paramedics attended to the incident.
It is understood that a man and woman were walking in the area when the dog attacked them. Upon assessment of the man, believed to be about 40 years of age, it was found that he sustained injuries to his hand.
The woman, believed to be 38 years of age, sustained injuries to her hands, left shoulder and head.
The woman was treated and transported to hospital for further medical care. The man declined hospital treatment.
The exact cause of the incident is unknown. Authorities were on scene.
