A woman has sustained serious injuries after her hand got stuck in a meat mincer at a Butchery in Pretoria.
When Netcare911 paramedics arrived on scene , we found the woman’s hand still stuck in the mincer.
Netcare911 deployed two Emergency Care Practitioners and a Critical Care Assistant to this incident.
After assessing the woman , it was found that she had sustained serious injuries.
She was stabilised on scene.
The Netcare2 helicopter was dispatched to airlift the woman together with the machinery to a trauma 1 facility in Johannesburg for further medical care.
This incident happened this afternoon at about 13h20.
