Herewith two new appointments at the Chemical and Allied Industries’ Association (CAIA).
Dr. Mlu Ganto has been appointed Head: Regulatory Affairs at the Chemical and Allied Industries’ Association (CAIA) with effect from 1 August 2016. Ganto holds a doctorate in chemistry, and his previous positions include that of candidate attorney at Adams & Adams Patents Department, researcher at the CSIR Biosciences Unit and post-doctoral research fellow at ICS-UNIDO in Trieste, Italy.
Mr. Amon Nyamhingura
Mr. Amon Nyamhingura has been appointed Responsible Care® Manager at the Chemical and Allied Industries’ Association (CAIA) with effect from 1 August 2016. Nyamhingura holds an MSc in chemistry and will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and maintenance of the CAIA’s Responsible Care® initiative in South Africa.
