At 22h04 on Sunday night Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a collision on the N6 about thirty kilometres from Bloemfontein. Reports from the scene indicate that the taxi had veered off the roadway and overturned its twisted remains coming to rest on its side next to the roadway.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and found that fifteen people had sustained injuries ranging from serious to minor. Medics treated the injured at the scene before transporting them to hospitals in Bloemfontein for the care that they required.
