A truck driver was injured earlier this morning on the N3 between Hilton and Peter Brown Drive in Pietermaritzburg.
ER24 paramedics arrived on scene and found that two trucks were involved in the collision.
Upon assessment, it was found that one of the truck drivers sustained moderate injuries. He was treated and transported to hospital for further medical care.
The exact cause of the incident is unknown. Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
Motorists are advised to drive cautiously in the area due to lack of visibility as a result of mist.
