Man seriously injured after hand caught in heavy duty industrial machine

A man sustained serious injuries to his right hand this afternoon after it caught in a heavy duty industrial machine at a company in Kya Sand.

ER24 and other services attended to the incident.

Upon arrival at the scene, paramedics found the man’s hand still caught in the machine. Technicians at the premises managed to release his hand from the machine.

Upon assessment of the man, believed to be in his 20’s, it was found that he was in a serious condition.

He was treated and transported to hospital for further medical care.
