Two people were injured this morning after the taxi they were traveling in overturned on Meyer Street in Meyerton.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found the taxi lying on its side on the side of the road. Two people, a man woman, were found walking around on the scene.
On assessment, paramedics found that both patients had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious or fatal injuries were reported on the scene.
Paramedics treated the patients and thereafter transported them to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
It is believed that the driver lost control of the taxi on the wet road, causing it to overturn.
Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
