At about 02h30 this morning, Netcare911 paramedics responded to an accident along the R501 in Potchefstroom.
Upon arrival, paramedics found that a bakkie and a light motor vehicle had collided with each other.
While assessing the injured it was found that four people had sustained moderate to minor injuries.
All injured were stabilised on scene and transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
