One person has sustained moderate injuries after the vehicle he was driving overturned on the M4 Northern freeway on top of the Umgeni River Bridge just after 10:30 this morning.
Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find the single vehicle on its side. The driver had sustained moderate injuries and was stabilised on the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital for the further care that he required.
AT this stage the exact cause of the collision is unknown however SAPS were on scene and will be investigating further.
