Nine people have sustained moderate injuries after two vehicles collided on Pine Street in Pinetown around 8am this morning.
Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene and found that two vehicles had collided causing most of the patients to be ejected from the back of an SUV landing on the roadway. The patients were found with minor to moderate injuries and were treated on scene by Rescue Care’s Advanced Life Support paramedic and ambulance personnel. The injured were then transported by Rescue Care to various Hospitals for the further care that they required.
At this stage the exact cause of the accident is unknown however the necessary authorities were on scene and will be investigating further.
