Two men aged between eighteen and twenty-years-old are in a critical but stable condition following a near drowning incident at Pelican Island in Richards Bay.
Reports from the scene indicate that the incident happened adjacent to the Ski-boat club in Richards Bay.
Netcare911 paramedics worked alongside paramedics from another emergency service on scene.
There was one critical man on scene while the other is in a stable condition.
The men were both stabilised on scene and transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
