Two suspects were arrested, one shot dead and a fourth suspect escaped.
Five firearms recovered. One of the suspects is linked to two recent hijacking of KwaZulu-Natal vehicles. A firearm was recovered from his room in Macekane. Another suspect is linked to Ntambana hijacking of a bakery, KwaMbonambi hijacking of a Water tank truck and another hijacking in KwaMbonambi last week.
The suspects will be appearing on Thursday at KwaMbonambi Magistrate’s Court for possession of unlicensed firearm.
