Eastern Cape: Police in Mdantsane have arrested two suspects aged between 29 – 35 years for house robbery in NU 6, Mdantsane last night.
This follows after a house robbery that took place in Wilsonia near Cambridge. Police recovered the stolen items with an estimated value of R30 000.
The two suspects are due to appear in the East London Magistrate’s Court on charges of house robbery soon. More arrests are imminent.
Mdantsane cluster commander, Major General Henry Vos, commended his team and further urged the members of the community not to buy stolen goods from a man on the street. This creates a market for stolen items and further increases house breakings and house robberies
