At 16h23 on Thursday afternoon Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a shooting incident along Allandale Road, Rosedale, Pietermaritzburg. Reports from the patient indicate that he was attacked in the Paint Shop that he owns by unknown gunman. Exact detail to the cause of the shooting however will remain a subject for police comment.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and found the man to have sustained a critical wound to the chest. The patient was stabilised at the scene and then transported to hospital under the constant care of a Netcare 911 advanced life support paramedic.
