One person sustained moderate injuries when a bakkie and an SUV collided on Northumberland avenue in Craighall Park, Johannesburg.
The exact detail to the cause of the accident will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
Netcare911 paramedics were on scene with other services.
The driver of the bakkie was stabilised on scene and thereafter transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care by paramedics from another emergency service.
The driver of the SUV refused hospital treatment.
