Limpopo: Eleven suspects were arrested during crime intelligence-driven operations throughout the Province over the weekend.
An operation was conducted around the Seshego policing precinct which led to an arrest of four suspects for dealing in drugs.
In Musina, a 29-year-old suspect was arrested for the possession of suspected stolen goods. Seven cell phones, gold necklace, knife, a shaving machine, US dollars as well as cash were found in his room.
Three suspects were arrested at Thabazimbi following the recovery of items stolen during house breaking. The suspects were arrested at Northam during the joint operation. The three suspects, aged between 27 and 32, were found in possession of the laptop, cellphone and a plasma TV. The vehicle a red Golf used by the suspects was also confiscated.
In Lephalale two suspects, aged 33 and 35, were arrested by police for being found in possession of 5 sachets as well as 40 rolls of dagga at Vila Nora policing area.
At Giyani two suspects, aged 29 and 32, were nabbed after being found in possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition. A preliminary investigation indicated that the firearm belonged to SAPS. The two were intercepted as they were on their way to commit business robbery.
All 11 suspects will appear before various Magistrates courts in the Province soon. #CrimeMustFall
